2008 Live Music for Dance Grants Awarded
The American Music Center (AMC) has made grants totaling $212,450 to 27 dance companies in New York City and New Jersey as part of the 2008 round of the Live Music for Dance Program.
 
National Endowment for the Arts Opera Honors
This award represents the greatest honor our nation bestows in opera, and recognizes individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to opera in the United States and have become cultural treasures of the nation.
 
Live Music for Dance Program
Helps New York City and New Jersey dance companies meet the costs of using live music for their performances including musicians' fees and commissions for new works by composers. 2008 deadlines have passed.
